Dear SD followers,
let me announce some recent activities and work:
1) You find at
http://wiki.symbolicdata.org/Publications
links to two recent papers on SD
H.-G. Gräbe: The SymbolicData Project - Maturing the Computer
Algebra Social Network Perspective.
In: Computeralgebra-Rundbrief 59 (October 2016)
H.-G. Gräbe: The SymbolicData Project – a Community Driven Project
for the CA Community.
Submitted to the MATHEMATICS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE SPECIAL ISSUE on
“Applications of Computer Algebra (ACA 2016 Kassel)”
2) We had some more discussion on CA Software. There is now a
consolidated version of the efforts that were spent since summer 2016.
I think, it is a good advice to distinguish between software (class
sd:CAS) and software descriptions (class sd:CASDescription). A software
can have plenty of descriptions.
For the moment we have descriptions from the swMath project, a certain
csv file from SIGSAM and some minor information from the German
Fachgruppe. I compiled all that into
2a) an enlarged RDF Graph Systems.ttl (sd:CAS instances) and
2b) a new RDF Graph SystemDescriptions.ttl
and revised the demo page at
http://symbolicdata.org/info/ca-systems.php
Note that (not very surprising) the sources are different but the
content turns out to be similar.
Enjoy, Hans-Gert
