Dear SD followers,

there are long plans to release a SD version 3.1 and to readjust our
repo structure before that:

(1) Switch https://github.com/symbolicdata to an organizational account
(done by ralf at 2015-10-16) and maintain code directly within that
account (no more forks, at least within a "central team" to be defined).

(2) Set up several repos with different maintainance rules - data (data
repo with a single master branch mainly to backup recent versions of
data, no versioning), code (code directory with master and develop
branches, under versioning), publications (as a backup store of the
LaTeX sources of SD publications, only master branch, no versioning).

I just set up these three repos and synced them with the most propagated
SD version at https://github.com/hg-graebe/symbolicdata/tree/develop and
also with the src/sdeval dir of
https://github.com/ioah86/symbolicdata/tree/develop. Hence they should
reflect the current state of affairs.

(3) Switch off https://github.com/symbolicdata/symbolicdata (at least
mentally) and start all further development using the new repos only.

I hope, I catched all relevant stuff. So please check out the new repos
and let me know if there are any objections to switch to this new
infrastructure within the next two weeks. The wiki should be updated
accordingly.

Best regards, hgg

There were no objections, so the old repo structure is deprecated and I
plan to remove the repos https://github.com/symbolicdata/symbolicdata
and https://github.com/hg-graebe/symbolicdata at the end of Febr 2016 if
there are no serious objections and "freeze" the current state as SD
Version 3.1 due to Febr 29, 2016.

Since no objections I just removed the remote repos
https://github.com/symbolicdata/symbolicdata and
https://github.com/hg-graebe/symbolicdata. Please adjust your remote
connections if not yet done.

Further I fixed a problem in TransitiveGroups.ttl, since in the original
sources there is a difference between direct products and wreath
products of groups. So far both were mapped onto the same blank node
structure. I changed the blank nodes into named nodes some time ago not
respecting this difference. I just fixed that and replaced the data both
in the repo and the RDF store at http://symbolicdata.org/Data/.

One can now also ask for relations to such named structures.

Moreover I tagged all fives repos with v3.1 thus releasing it as SD
Release 3.1.

Best regards, Hans-Gert
