Hi,

;I have a few questions about activate-tonality chord symbols:

(activate-tonality (ch-b5 c 4))-->((c 4 e 4 f\# 4))
;what is -->((c 4 e 4 g 4))

;what is the logic behind (ch-7sus410 g 3)
;I understand
(activate-tonality (ch-7sus4 g 3))-->((g 3 c 4 d 4 f 4))
;but 10 behind the 4 produces a third above, how come?

;what is the best way to get something like this:
((c 4 e 4 g 4 b 4 d 5))

thanks for an answer,

ole

hi Olé,

basically i've took the names from a chord lib from a software of cognitone: Harmony assistant.

When i design harmonic structure with harmony assistant, it's now easy to transfert them into scom with the help of this similarity in names.

i'm not on my computer today and for different reason, can't access it today..... but i think if you need '(c 4 e 4 g 4 b 4 d 5) i think
something like ch-79 may be in library of chords ?? (can't control now :(

cheers

Hi Stephane,

Thanks for chiming in, but ch-79 does not work, ch-b579 does also not work, neither do ch-b57...
