SAVE THE DATE: BioDigiCon 2025 is coming September 23–25, 2025! 

iDigBio is pleased to announce the inaugural in-person Biodiversity Digitization Conference to be held in Washington. DC, 23-25 September 2025. This event will combine themes from iDigBio's two annual conferences, the Digital Data in Biodiversity Research Conference and BioDigiCon. The overarching themes for the conference are workforce development, capacity building, and enhancement for all phases of the Biodiversity Specimen Digitization Value Chain. The scope is international.

Oral presentations, symposia, discussion sessions, and workshops will focus on all phases of the digitization pipeline from collections management and pre-digitization curation to data mobilization, aggregation, and use in biodiversity research, education, and outreach.
