Sybiosis 1.3, "Parameters" not showing up in AU

Here's a screenshot to make the issue clear.

I've testing in Reaper, Mainstage, and Logic.  I can't seem to figure this one out.  I only need the single parameter so that I have a way to telling the host that the project is dirty and needs to be saved.  I have the symbiosis code compiled directly into my project.

If there's another way to set the project as dirty, that would be an acceptable workaround. I would actually prefer to have not editable parameters at all for this project.
