The problem I am having is with BackupExec 11d and a regular user trying to gain access to check status of nightly backups.
She can log onto the server (Windows 2000). Then when she clicks on Backup Exec it asks her to sign into the Media Server. Upon putting in her log-in information and clicking OK - she gets an "Access Denied" message.
She is a member of the Backup Operator group. She can do all other authorized functions on the server. She just cannot get into Backup Exec.
I have tried researching this matter on the Internet. I find mostly posting relating to Remote Agent.
If anyone can give me some insight into what is preventing her from checking her backups, I would greatly appreciate it.
