Backup Exec 12.5 on 2008 Server constantly failing

Hello:
I've been scratching my head and often find myself pulling my hair due
to constant failure of backup. It has been failing the past few weeks.
The host server is running on a Windows Server 2008 with Backup Exec
12.5. All data are backing up to a Lacie Ethernet Disk.

I get the following error message:
Error category : Job Errors
Error : e0008821 - Job was recovered as a result of Backup Exec RPC
service starting. No user action is required.

Spent numerous hours searching online, often finding myself back on
Symantec's site but have not found anything close to my issue.
Hope someone can shed some light and help me resolve this error.

I've already checked the DCOM Config and it is set to default. Also
did what was mentioned in another article for email notifications to
select Summary information only.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
