WINFAX Basic Edition vers 9.0

Hello:

New to this NG. I am trying out WinFAX Basic Edition, because my
previous FAX program seems to no longer be compatible with my internal
FAX/Voice/Data modem. I basically have two questions:

[1] Is there an update file that I may use, other than buying a
retail version of WinFAX ? The present file was taken from the
Symnatec System Works vers 2.0 Bonus CD.

[2] I am experiencing a problem when sending a FAX that uses as
the source a Corel WP8.0 document file, which was generated a while
ago. (i.e., the WinFax printer driver was not available back then.)
Each page of the WP8 document file shows at the remote FAX
machine as a thumbnail printout.
Note: The cover page for the FAX appears as expected, normal font
size.

Is this problem related to the printer driver originally used ?
Any ideas what is causing this problem and how to correct it ?

I'm not to experienced with winfax but if you have MS word you can convert a
corel wordperfect document and save it in word format and send it that way.
