I just downloaded & installed the PCAnywhere32 8.02 Trial on my
Windows NT Server 4.0 (sp3) system, and after install, the system no
longer boots. Instead, it comes up with a
"PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" error message. I am able to boot the
system in VGA MODE, so I suspect the problem is video related. Once
booted in VGA MODE, i can uninstall PCAW, and the system boots fine.
System Hardware:
Intel PentiumII 350MHz
128mb RAM
ATI Mach64 PCI Video
3COM PCI Network Card
6.4gb IDE HDD
Adaptec 1940 PCI SCSI adaptor
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm very interested in
getting this working with several computers. Thanks in advance!

Since you were able to boot to VGA mode without a blue screen the issue is
with the video driver. Confirm that the latest ATI Mach64 video driver for
NT, from ATI, has been downloaded and applied to the system. This should
resolve the issue. To obtain the latest video driver from ATI, point your
browser to their web site at http://www.atitech.com.
Good luck and please let me know if the issue continues.

I recently pruchased pcAnywhere (v8 for windows nt), and experience
exactly the same problem.
I'm using a Dell OptiPlex with an ATI 3D Rage Pro graphic card.
I've downloaded the latest graphic driver and the latest pc anywhere
patch, but the problem still occcurs!
After installlation, my pc boots in vga mode, but fails to boot in
normal mode (hence my suspicion that it is a graphic driver problem).
Can you advise?

If the latest video driver from ATI did not resolve the issue, see if the
following corrects the problem. The driver installation file ATI.INF that
shipped with the ATI Rage video card contains an error; it installs two
video drivers into the system Registry, but only copies one of the
associated .DLL files into the WINNT\SYSTEM32 folder.
