A Telnet connection is not supported with pcANYWHERE32. Also, since the
pcANYWHERE32 Trial version was already working, removing and reinstalling
it to the same system will automatically expire the trial version. If this
occurs, there isn't a way to reinstall the Trial version to the same system
without reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling all your software.
If this was a modem connection, try removing and reinstalling the modem
TAPI driver. Also, confirm that the latest modem .INF file from the vendor
has been applied to the system. If the problem continues, try connecting
to our test host and see if this helps out. Our test host runs 24 hours a
day, seven days a week. This test will confirm if the problem is with the
host or remote computer. The phone number for the test host is:
541-334-4034: Windows NT 4.0 with pcANYWHERE 8.0
The Windows NT machine pcANYWHERE login is: TEST. The password is: TEST.
