I'm posting here because I can't find a group for Norton Anti-Virus and
WinME.

I apparently did something really stupid last night -- I moved Norton
AntiVirus and its contents from where it had been loaded under C:\Programs
\Norton AntiVirus to just C:\Norton AntiVirus. I did this because I like
all my programs to be where I can find them easily and I had to dig around a
bit to find where a virus had been quarantined.

Anyhow, my desktop shortcut doesn't work anymore so I went into NAV to find
the program and create another shortcut. By process of elimination, I
decided that the program icon had to be either NAVW32 or NVLAUNCH. I tried
to test by activating NAVW32 and got the following error message: "Norton
Integrator could not initialize the current frame class. Please make sure
that you did not directly run the integrator." This is the same message
that appears when I click on the desktop icon.

When I click on NVLAUNCH, nothing happens.

My questions are. . .did I royally screw-up the thing by moving the
program?; (2) which is the program icon that I need to short-cut to my
desktop to be able to open the program?; (3) what does this error message
mean?; and (4) how do I get rid of a virus that has been quarantined (I
ended up just deleting it). Finally, is there a newsgroup dedicated to NAV
and WinME and if not, where should I post questions?

I'm too frightened to open any e-mail until I get NAV back up and running.

In advance gratitude for your response,

Perri
