We are using PCAnywhere with 2 ISDN connections:
1. Compaq USB ISDN modem (with RVS Capi software)
2. Teles internal ISDN adapter (CAPI 3.23 version)

After days and days of testing we did manage to get the connection working,
but still it happens that the connection is being disconnected and only
after a
number of retries the connection stays alive.

How can we get the connection NOT being disconnected ??
Any suggestions, please send also e-mail to meJacques Veldhuijzen

From the Symantec Knowledge Base:

ISDN routers
These routers require that a PING command be sent ahead
of the
pcANYWHERE connection to "wake up" the router.

Are you doing this?

working with two 3COM ISDN 511 routers, i wrote a program that caused one
router to call the other. i also had the routers setup with no time out.
"nailed up" connection. and it works great! however, it depends on
where these routers are and how they are connected.

any questions email me.
