Hello,

I have installed pca 11.0 on a XP Prof SP2 system that shall wait as
host for remote calls. As far as I can remember, everything worked fine
after installation.
Then I installed the Multilanguage Interface Pack because I had to
switch the menu language to french on the PC.
Now, when the PC starts up a Error pops up: "PCanywhere has a
compatibility problem with your system. AWHost.sys has been disabled.
To reenable change the host settings (accelerarator enable)".
I can't find an Option in the the host settings that changes the
behaviour. Seems as if I can control the PC remotely nevertheless, but
the error message is annoying - any idea how to get rid of it?

Thanks a lot,

Hank

If anyone experiences the same Problem and find this thread, here is
how I finally solved it:

http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/pca.nsf/docid/2003082808432312?Open&docid=20040908111536903&nsf=SUPPORT%5CINTER%5Cpcaintl.nsf&view=0&seg=hm

If the link fails: go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>System>CurrentControlSet>Services>AW_HOST

and set the DWORD "Start" to 1
