How to stop wrong error messages in Norton 2008

I'm running Norton Internet Security 2008 under my Microsoft Vista
Professional system.

When starting PC I always get messages like "You closed Internet Worm
Security" or "Norton Antivirus is off" (or so - I get the messages in German
language), b e s i d e s everything is installed propererly and the Norton
Security symbol lights greeen, telling me, that everything works well.

How can I stop this annoying messages?

I suppose that the reason could be the Windows Security feature, where I had
to cancel Windows Firewall and the Antivirus option as controlled by Windows
Vista, but I'm not shure...
