I copied the xdbdown.cmd file that Symantec provides (unsupported.)
Unfortunately, I've had a hard time getting the Windows FTP command to
work well and would like to use an alternative ftp client, ncftp or
ncftpget. However, I'm not very good at scripting. I'm wondering if
anyone here has an alternative xdbdown script that I can use with ncftp
or ncftpget? This is for Symantec Antivirus Corp. Ed. 9.
Thanks
John

FWIW, I'm not *tied* to NCFTP / NCFTPGET / NCFTPLS, it's just that I'm
more familiar with that ftp client, due to the fact that it's come with
just about every distro of linux I've had in the past 7 years or so.
:-) If someone can help me write a script that will do the same thing
using a different ftp client, I'm all for it, I just have had problems
getting the MS FTP client to work in the past and don't really trust it!
