error 1812

Ever since I upgraded to 2008, all of my updates give me this: error
code 1812, WMI 1.2

Does any one know what is going on with my problem or is it a common
problem? I am using windows XP pro

Have you tried to Google LU1812? You'll find several hits with solutions.

I have tried what every one has offered me, and I thank you very much.
But nothing is working. Will Norton ever fix it? Am I still protected?
