I've some worries about NAV clients, I use Symantec Norton Antivirus
Corporate Edition v9.0 and the Symantec System Center (SSC) to view my
clients where I deployed the norton antivirus as managed client.
The problem is that some of the clients are displayed in the SSC
console and some others are not.
Some NAV clients disappeared from the NAV console and I think the
parameter involved in that issue is the parameter on the server HKLM
\Software\Intel\LANDesk\VirusProtect6\ClientExpirationTimeout ->720
Hours (->for 30 days).
I would like to keep each NAV clients records in the SCC (in order to
clean the out to date machine clients myself and not done
automatically a 30 days later) so may I delete the registry key
ClientExpirationTimeout without an impact on my Symantec
configuration?
Or the question is how to keep these removed NAV clients to stay on
SSC console?
