Hi Peter,
I think you mean NAV 5.0 and ACT! 4.0. Symantec does not currently
have an ACT! 5.0 product.
I would check the NAV newsgroups, for information, on problems
encountered after the installing NAV 5.
In ACT! 4.0 we have seen intermittent problems restoring a database
backed up using the Backup routine coded in ACT! 4.0. Generally this
has been resolved by copying the data file from the floppy to a hard
disk directory prior to restoring.
