The intermittent behavior of ACT! mysteriously marking all previously
read messages in my Internet Mail Box as unread has reoccurred,
twice, today.
To refresh, this "feature" occurs when ACT! pops up a message box
saying "You have new email messages" (or something to that effect).
Once I hit the "Ok" button, ACT! hesitates for a moment or two, then
comes back with every message marked unread. Interestingly, I noted
the last time this occurred that there was, in fact, no new mail when
the message box popped up.
Help me out here, guys - my friends using Outlook 98 are starting to
point and snicker.
