We are running ACT on an NT 4.0 server and have not been able to install the
latest update (the same place ACT was originally installed). Yes, the
executable is being shared, as is the database, and yes, we are logged in
with Administrator rights. As with others who have posted with this same
problem, the installation begins and then simply goes away. Since we first
tried the update, we are no longer able to access the "About" screen under
"Help" to double-check the version number. We have followed all the steps
you have mentioned to others who have posted and have taken the "Read Me"
file into consideration. We are hoping this new version will alleviate some
of the inconveniences we have experienced, so any additional information
will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Holly,

To summarize you have:

1. Run SP3 on the NT 4.0.
2. Installed the update using the same workstation you installed the
inital shared executeable to the server with.

The next step is to backup all data on the Server, Uninstall ACT!,
delete the program files in the ACT folder, reinstall from the CD, run
the update, then resetup your workstations.
