Hi Wiwiek,

1. ACT! 4.0 is designed with a 254 character limit for fields, the
exception is the notes field which is a memo text field and only one
is setup for ACT!. Alternatives:

a. Create additional company fields company1, company 2 etc. to hold
the description.
b. Attach a text or other file to the contact with the company
description.
c. Insert the description as a Note to the record.
