Do you have your daytimer configured in WinFax as a phone book?
If so start WinFax and switch it to another phone book

If you turn off the Send Wizard does it work OK?

Make sure you have the current version of WinFax 8.03. Check help about.

To help me assist you with this situation, I will require more information. Could you please provide the following parameters:

1) Modem brand and model
2) COM port and IRQ it is setup on in your computer.
3) In WinFax Pro, choose the "Modem" option on the "Setup" menu item.
Click on the "Properties Button"
On the General Tab, what Port are you on?
On the General Tab, what class is WinFax using?
On the fax Tab, what is your:
Initialization string line 1?
Line 2 (if any) ?
Hardware flow control?
Is the "Use Hardware Flow Control" parameter checked?
4) In WinFax Pro, choose the "Modem" option on the "Setup" menu item
Click on the "Test All Ports" button.
What information does it return?
