Configuration Information:
Operating system: --Other--

I can not get this program to work correctly since re-installing and
adding the TalkWorks component.

When I try to send a fax -- either from the controller or from within
Word 97 -- the system crashes.

Fortunately I have Norton CrashGuard and am able to "fix" and
proceed. But then everything is hosed up (normal printing, etc.) so
I am forced to re-boot.

Here's Norton CrashGuard's report:
Wfxvctel - 2 crashes (within 5 minutes)
-- WFXVCAPP.DLL - 2 times
Wfxctl32 -- 58 crashes
-- WFXCTL32.DLL - 38 times
-- WFC30.DLL - 6 times
-- WFXUT32C.DLL - 13 times
-- KERNEL32.DLL - 1 time

Plus the OLECahnnelWnd becomes frozen after these crashes.

Please help, this is really getting in the way of my conducting
business.

Sincerely,

Read the following technical notes that deal with the errors you are getting:

http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/faxprod.nsf/docid/199752181215

http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/faxprod.nsf/docid/1998129171750

If you could provide the exact error message (from the CGSTATS.CG file which is located in the Norton CrashGuard folder) we would
be able to give a more exact solution.
