Inside a pop up window I get the same message. I have looked on your
data base and reinstalled both 95 and now 98 with the same
frustrating results! The window starts up as soon as I start winfax.
If I close it it just pops up three or four senconds later. It spools
on and on with the same error message for ever. Its going on three
weeks now. The message is: "Unable to print recieved fax on. Reason:
A printer name has not been supplied for this task" Ahhhhh! its
making me want to pitch the damn thing out the window! I'm running a
p266II I have norton utilities 3.0 the winfax is version 8.03. I have
done all the live updates. Its seems to do the same thing in 98 or
95. I have tried unistalling it and uninstalling the printer driver.
Nothing helps. What the %$@%$#$^#& is it???

Hi;
Try each of the following solutions to resolve the error.
Rename Your WFX0001.DAT File
Close WinFax PRO and the Controller.
Click Start, point to Find and choose Files or Folders. The Find
dialog box appears.
Choose the drive on which you installed WinFax from the Look In
drop-down list.
In the Named field, type
wfx0001.dat
and click Find Now. Windows will find and display all files matching
your search criteria in the lower half of the Find dialog box.
Highlight the file when Windows has found it.
Choose Rename from the File menu. A flashing cursor appears in the
filename field.
In the filename field, type:
wfx0001.old
and press Enter.
Start WinFax PRO.
Repair Your WinFax PRO Logs
Close all programs including WinFax, the WinFax PRO Controller and the
CommBar if you are running it.
Choose Run from the Windows Start menu. The Run dialog box appears.
Click Browse and locate your \WINFAX program directory. If you
installed WinFax to the default location, this will be either
C:\Program Files\Symantec\WinFax or C:\Program Files\Delrina\WinFax.
Highlight the file DELFIX.EXE and click Open.
In the Open field, you should see a line similar to
"C:\Program Files\Symantec\WinFax\delfix.exe"
depending on the location of your WinFax directory.
Click the mouse in the Open field and place the cursor at the end of
the line. When the flashing cursor is at the end of the line, type a
space and the following text:
-REBUILD
Your line will then look something like:
"C:\Program Files\Symantec\WinFax\delfix.exe" -REBUILD
Click OK. A dialog box appears, prompting you to select a database to
rebuild.
Locate your \WinFax\DATA directory.
Highlight the file STATUS.WFB and click Open to start the repair
process.
Remove Events From The Send Log
Start WinFax PRO.
Open the Send Log.
Highlight every event in your WinFax PRO Send Log.
Choose Copy from the Edit menu. The Copy To dialog box appears.
Choose another folder or message store to copy the events into.
Close and restart WinFax PRO.
