I've heard that this problem can be resolved by copying the old
version DLL's to the home directory of each of these "difficult"
programs and they will, thus, use these DLL's rather than the newer
versions.
Is this true? Any special procedures I need to observe to accomplish
this task?
I'm a hardware designer and not very conversant with computer lingo so
keep it simple and explicit.
Thanks for your help.
