Hi:
Check that your modem is supported by Talkworks.
Check that in Talkworks setup, you do not have FAX ONLY as the active
profile.
TalkWorks 8.0

The lists are different for both Winfax and Talkworks.
A modem that works with Talkworks will work with Winfax, but one that
is supported by Winfax may not be supported by Talkworks.

John,
One more thing, make sure you are current with our updates as well as
the modem manufactures drivers and MicroSoft unimodemv driver,
available on the Winfax CD.
