Hello Bernard,

Thank you for your post to the forum.

From your message, it seems you are attempting to connect to a
pcANYWHERE32 Host running on a Windows 95 computer such that the first
thing you see is the host computer's network login screen. Is this
correct?

If this is the case, on the Host computer, go into the Properties of the
Host icon, and choose the 'Settings' tab. Next, choose the option,
'Launch with Windows', click OK, then restart your Host computer. The
pcANYWHERE32 Host will be waiting for a connection outside of the Windows
95 network login screen.

Forgive me if I read your message wrongly.

Actually, what I'm trying to do is logon to the remote (host)
computer automatically. The DOS solution in the FAQ is unacceptable
because it doesn't log me in through windows, and secondly requires
that you store the password in an unencrypted file on the remote
machine. What I need is the capability to move focus on the host
from the remote and also trigger keystrokes (like the <Enter> key) so
that I can login and then send update files to the network the host
is attached to. When will these deficiencies be addressed?

Sincerely,
Bernard Mikowski
