What do you see when you try to connect with the pcANYWHERE32 remote
over NetBIOS to a host waiting on NetBIOS?

Are both the remote and host running Windows 95? Are they both using
pcANYWHERE32 8.0?

pcANYWHERE32 requires that the LANA number be set correctly in order
to access computers using NetBIOS. Otherwise, you may not be able to
connect to other computers.

What version of pcANYWHERE32 8.0 do you have? If you have 8.0 or 8.01,
you can upgrade to the latest version, 8.02, by clicking on
pcANYWHERE32's Utilities menu and then clicking on the LiveUpdate
selection.

Once you have pcANYWHERE32 8.02, I recommend setting the LANA number
to Auto. The following steps will walk you through doing this. These
steps will need to be done on both the remote and host computers.

1. From the main window of pcANYWHERE32, right click on the network
icon that you are using, such as NETWORK.
2. Click on Properties.
3. Ensure that only NetBIOS is selected in the Device list. If so,
then click on the Details button.
4. Click on the Options tab.
5. Set the LANA to Auto if it is not already set to that.
6. Click on the OK button.
7. Click on the next OK button. This brings you back to the main
window of pcANYWHERE32.

Once these steps have been performed on both the remote and host, then
try to connect again.

Please let us know if these recommendations do not resolve the issue.
