We had a problem connecting to our remote computers with pcAnywhere
on th enew computers only. We tried several fixes. I hint to anyone
out there who is having a similar problem. If you are using new 3com
905b network cards it will not work, we tried the latest drivers and
these cards do not work with pcAnywhere over IPX. revert to the older
NICs and you will be able to connect,

Hello Robert,
Thanks for this information.
We have known issues using the 3C905 adapters on some computers, which
is documented in the following Knowledge Base document:
Windows Protection Error After Installing pcANYWHERE32
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/pca.nsf/docid/199822781426
The resolution is as you state: use the latest drivers.
Please let us know if we can assist you with any other issues. Thanks.
