Does anyone have any suggestions for the following?

We have a customer which has two sites. At each site is a Novell server
running Netware 3.12. Site A has approx 15 clients, each running Win95 and
site B has approx 4 clients, again running Win95. The protocol running on
both networks is IPX.

We got involved with them because they were running a leased line between
the two sites. Their purpose for this connection was for email, and the
transfer of data files. We sold them the solution of ISDN because this would
provide significant reduction in costs.

We installed a 3Com OfficeConnect 531S remote router at each site and
configured them for routing over IPX. This was successful and they had their
email and data transfer between the two sites.

They then introduced to us the usage of PcAnywhere. They run version 8.02 on
each of the clients at both sites. Site B has all their clients set up as
hosts and site A connects to them remotely to take over the client and run
applications. This worked successfully over the leased line, but now
configured for ISDN, site A cannot see the remote clients at site B.

If site A goes into network neighbourhood, it can see the clients at site B.
Just not able to see them in PcAnywhere.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I had somewhat of the same problem with 2 networks that were trusted
bothways. in pcanywhere i could only see the hosts in that specific domain
similar to your problem. one of our domains ran on ipx and the other tcp/ip.
I called tech support for symantec and they enformed me to try somethings.
one being to make sure that in ipx properties and ip properties to make sure
that the frame type matched on both the host and remote and to up the
maximum conn.to 60 and the maximum sockets to 60. and if you have a firewall
to open up a few of your ports.

Why are you doing any of this (PCAnyWhere)? Isn't IPX working for you?
