During the clean boot process, was ATM 4.0 still running? If it was not,
which video card is installed on the system? Are you able to boot the
system using the Standard VGA video driver? If this is possible, try this
out to determine if the video driver is the cause of the problem.

If none of the recommendations above corrects the problem, obtain the
following document from our Knowledge Base for instructions on clean
booting Windows 98:

If the issue continues, was Windows 98 installed over Windows 95? Was
pcANYWHERE32 version 8.0 installed over another version of pcANYWHERE?
