pcANYWHERE32 version 8.0 does not support booting the host mode within DOS.
pcA32 version 8.0 is only supported in the Windows 95/98/and NT operating
systems. If you boot to any of these OS then the pcANYWHERE32 host mode
can be set to launch with Windows.
pcANYWHERE can be setup to automatically launch the host mode when Windows
starts. Follow these steps to initiate the host mode when Windows NT
starts:
1. Start pcANYWHERE on the host PC, then right-click the host icon to
initiate at startup, and choose Properties.
2. Select the Settings tab.
3. Enable Launch Host at Startup.
4. Click OK.

Another option is to launch the host mode through a pcANYWHERE32 command
line. The command line you'll want to use to launch PCA is:
<path to pcA32>\AWHOST32.EXE <path to pcA32>\data\<file>.bhf
The <path to pcA32> is your pcANYWHERE32 program directory, usually
\PROGRAM FILES\PCANYWHERE. The <file> is the name of your connection item.

I hope this helps out. Please let me know if I can be of further
assistance.
