I haven't yet purchased pcAnywhere - this question is to see
if it will meet my needs.
1. Will pcAnywhere allow me to synchronize folders between my desktop
& my laptop if I connect via modem or cable connect?
2. Can I use Norton Navigator to transfer files between computers
while connected with pcAnywhere?
3. Is there any speed advantages to file tranfers with pcAnywhere
verses Windows95 built-in Direct Cable Connection?
Desktop: P233 Windows95a 3 hard drives (6 partitions)
Laptop: Compaq P150 Windows95b 1 hard drive (1 partition)

Yes, pcANYWHERE32 can use file and directory synchronization. This
synchronizes files and directories by copying and overwriting files,
not by merging the contents of them.

The remote and host are not considered to be in a network environment,
and therefore using Norton Navigator on either the remote or host
would only see the local computer, not the other one.

I believe that pcANYWHERE32 has a much faster compression speed and
ratio, so yes, it should be better than using Microsoft's Direct Cable
Connection.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thanks.
