An ISDN router is used to route network traffic. To pcANYWHERE32, this
is transparent. pcANYWHERE32 would use a network protocol that your
network uses to connect over the router, such as TCP/IP.
If the ISDN is on a specific computer, then it would most likely not
be acting as a router, but as an ISDN adapter, for ISDN modem
connections. If so, then the remote and host would need to have an
ISDN line and adapter to enable this type of communication.
Note that most ISDN routers go into sleep mode, and that the first
attempt at a connection through them may result in a timeout. If so,
either disable the sleep mode (if possible) on the ISDN adapter, or
use the first connection to wake it up. The second connection should
then function, since the router should be operational then.
