You can continue to use your host normally, with the exception of
being able to use the modem. You will know when someone has connected
to your computer, because pcANYWHERE32 will change its display from
Waiting for Connection to Incoming Call, then In Session. The host's
background picture (if any) will disappear, and you will see your
mouse moving around and applications opening closing (i.e., the remote
user accessing your computer and moving the mouse around).

If you have Microsoft Remote Access configured, yes. pcANYWHERE32 does
not configure or set up remote networking, but can access a host over
a connection made with this. You would use Dial-Up Networking on the
client (remote) to connect to the Remote Access Server (host). Once
connected, pcANYWHERE32 treats this as a network connection, not a
modem connection.
