Configuration Information:
Version: pcANYWHERE32 8.0
Operating system: Windows 95a

I was running PC-Anywhere, and dialed to a remote PC.
It looked like I was able to connect, but then the following message
showed up:
"An unexpected error has occured in AWREM32.EXE.
Information about this error has been saved in
C:\Program Files\PC-Anywhere\AWREM32.RPT
Please contact technical support with this information."

The AWREM32.RPT file looks like this:

Hello Orly,

Thank you for using our online discussion groups.

An AWREM32, Fatal Exception, or an Access Violation error can
sometimes occur if the computer is low on memory or system resources,
or if the installation of pcANYWHERE32 has become corrupted.

Has this issue occurred only once, or does it occur frequently? If
this issue has only occurred once, then I recommend rebooting both the
remote and host computers. Then connect to the host again to see if
this has resolved the issue.

If this issue occurs frequently, then I recommend uninstalling
pcANYWHERE32, clean booting so that nothing else is running (this is
important), and then reinstalling it. If this fails to resolve the
issue, then please respond back to us with the following information
please:

How much memory does the computer have? How much free hard drive space
is on the C: drive or the drive that pcANYWHERE32 is installed on?

Have you run ScanDisk and Defrag recently? If not, run these hard
drive utilities to see if they help.

What other programs are running on the remote? As a test, close all
other programs to see if this helps.

For more information on troubleshooting this type of an error, I
recommend the following document that is available on our Knowledge
Base:

Please let us know if these recommendations do not resolve the issue.
