Can someone help me with this problem :
I have my win98 system dial-up into a remote LAN successfully - from my
system I can ping the gateway and the NT 4.0 host of interest on the
remote LAN.

I am trying to use pcANYWHERE32 8.02 as the remote terminal from the
win98 system to take on the NT 4.0 host. I have pcANYWHERE32 wait for
connection (over TCP/IP) using "host control" on the NT host on the
remote LAN and pcANYWHERE32 attempt for a connection (over TCP/IP)
using "remote control" from win98, but can't get them to connect. Am I
missing something here.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Symatec does not support PCAnywhere 32 on terminal server at all. They have
a statement to that effect on thier web site and I have been told by thier
tech support as well.
I am searching for a product that is supported on TSE as a host. If you find
one go ahead a post it.

haven't seen it on their site in awhile. but I believe you can still get it
from them if you contact them directly.

Virtual Network Computing:
http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/

With it you can Access desktops from/to any of the following platforms:
Solaris(sparc), Linux (x86), DEC Alpha, Win32 (Intel), Mac.

It is rumorred (unconfirmed) to work with TS.
