Does this occur with a single caller, or all callers?

Does disabling the Make passwords case sensitive setting on the host
resolve the issue?

If these suggestions fail, I recommend creating a new host item, and
then adding new callers to it. Does this help?

Please let us know if these recommendations do not resolve the issue.

Larry;

Thank you for your quick response. But, I have already tried all of
your ideas.

The caps lock happens on all of the callers not just one. When I add
a new one, I can use upper and lower case to name it, but when I try
to go to passwords it is all upper case.

I have tried deleting and re-entering to no luck. Help, my clients
are getting very angry.

Hello Heidi,

Thanks for this new information. I apologize for any frustration on
your part or your clients part.

Where are you seeing the passwords at? pcANYWHERE32 displays the
password as a series of asterisk "***" symbols. Are you referring to
when you enter the password when logging onto the host?

Is the host's Caps Lock key on? Or is the remote's on? If both are
turned off (if either of them were on, especially the host's) does
this work?

Can any remote connect to a different host and enter the password
successfully?

If this used to work, and no longer does, then it may be possible that
some files in the host's pcANYWHERE32 have become corrupted. To find
out if this is true and to hopefully resolve the issue, I recommend
uninstalling pcANYWHERE32, clean booting so that nothing else is
running (this is important), and then reinstalling it. When you clean
boot, the only things that should be left on the CTRL+ALT+DEL Close
Program list will be Explorer and SysTray; end task on all other items
there.

Beyond this recommendation, I am not certain what we can do unless we
can track down how this issue is occurring. The above test to go to
another host and see if the remote can enter a case-sensitive password
there would at least tell us if the issue is solely on the host end or
not.
