Hi James,

I can't speak for the 3rd party software that you have installed which
may have changed the registry in some way. However, I don't believe
you will need that registry entry for Windows 98, and so I would
recommend that you delete it with Windoctor. You can make a backup of
the registry before deleting this entry by using the Norton Registry
Editor or creating Rescue Disks.

To make a backup with the Norton Registry Editor, please do the
following:

1. Run the Norton Registry Editor.
2. Click on File and then choose Backup Entire Registry.
You will have to select a name for the backup and a location on your
hard drive.

To restore the backup, just double-click on the backup.

Keep us posted,
Take care,
