I recently upgraded Internet Explorer to v4.01 SP1, and now when I
invoke Norton Registry Editor I get the following message.

Steven,
First, keep in mind that the Norton Utilities 2.0 program is no longer
being updated. Only the virus definitions continue to be updated.
Support for a specific product will continue for 6 months after a new
version is released. Norton Utilities 3.0 for Windows 95 was released
in November of 1997, and support for Norton Utilities 2.0 was
discontinued in June of 1998.
As long as you have the latest update to Norton Utilities 2.0, it
should work, however, as future updates to Windows come out, there
will be more incompatibilities since Norton Utilities 2.0 is no longer
being developed. The best solution is to upgrade to Norton Utilities
3.0.
