I am running Norton Utils Unerase (i.e. the recycle bin in the W95 GUI)
- version from Explorer: 03 August 1995 09:00:00.

I also use W95 File Manager (Winfile.exe) to do file copy, move etc
operations.

I am finding that frequently in Winfile I use the copyboard to move or delete
or do any other action to a file or series of files in a directory and all of a
sudden all the files in the same directory disappear! I then look into
c:\recycled \nprotect and find a lot there so go to restore in recycle in and
put them back. But why should these deletes be occurring when I am not doing a
delete operation in Winfile? I can't track presively what the conditions are
when it occurs but as it happens on two machines running differnt versions of
W95 but (I think) the same version of winfile.exe I think there must be an
inherent problem somewhere. Details as follows:

Winfile.exe downloaded from msoft www site for y2k compliance update
run on W95 both original version and on OSR2 on IBM TP 380XD and
W95 original version on Compaq LTE Elite CXL 4/75

Winfile details:
File version 4.00.951
product version 4.00.950
special build description QFE
