Hello Michael,
You might want to try the following:
1.Open a DOS box by clicking the Start menu, Programs, MS-DOS prompt.
2.2 Enter C: at the DOS prompt.
3.Enter CD\ at the DOS prompt to change to the
root directory.
4.Enter DELTREE \RECYCLED\NPROTECT.
5.Repeat Steps 2 through 4 for each drive on your
system. Replace the C: in
Step 2 with the appropriate drive letter.
If you still have troubles, you should post a message to the NProtect
newsgroup:

Rick,
The best way for me to help you resolve problems as quickly as
possible is for you to provide specific, complete information, such
as:
What kind of computer do you have?
What version of Windows 95 do you have installed?
Processor(s)?
Amount of RAM?
How many drives/partitions?
File system (FAT16, FAT32?)
What Symantec products (and their version) do you have installed?
What is the problem you're experiencing?
Have you ever been able to run LiveUpdate?
If you are unable to run LiveUpdate, where does it hang up on you?
Have you downloaded a patch or virus definition file? Which one(s)?
If you're seeing error messages, please quote them exactly.
What steps have you tried already to resolve the problem?
Can you reproduce the problem?
Although you may be experiencing the same problem(s) that you're
seeing in this Discussion Group, everyone's system is different. It
helps me to know what I'm working with. I appreciate your time and
effort on this.
