Thank you for your inquiry and sorry to hear that you are experiencing
difficulties with your product.

What version of NU 3.0 are you using? Have you installed the latest
LiveUpdate which will bring you up to version 3.06? Many users have
commented that version 3.06 is more stable than prior versions.

In terms of getting a refund, you will need to contact Customer Service.
To do so, please leave a message to Customer Service in the
symantec.customerservice.general newsgroup, e-mail them at
cust...@symantec.com, or call them at (800) 441-7234 and they will be
happy to assist you.

I hope that this answers your questions. Please let me know if I can be
of any further assistance.

We have detailed information on how to apply for a refund on this web page:

http://www.symantec.com/custserv/cs_returns.html

Did you charge the purchase to a credit card? If so, your credit card bill
for the purchase can act as your receipt.

If you don't have any kind of receipt available, then you would be best off
calling the Customer Service Department at 1-800-441-7234 and talking to
them directly about this.

Vince,
how many MORE version updates must we go thru
before NU3.0 is as stable as version 2.0 was from the
beginning????!!!!
This has become a joke!!!
Why not simply recall the product, spend a few months
more beta testing it, and re-release it as version 4.0?!?

I would just like to say that I did call customer service today and
they did a very good job of working with me. I still feel "deceived"
on the quality of the original purchase but they did make up for my
inconvienence. Please do a better job on the next version of NU and
we will all be a happier customers.

P.S. Watch out if you purchase software from Wallmart. I purchased
my software as one piece of software. Apparently my software had the
serial number of a bundled piece of software. That is bad business,
and I hope it comes back to bite some one some day.
