Norton tab on My Computer drive icons Properties box disappears

Win 98SE, NU2000
After uninstalling winonCD and a packet CD program, changing
my CDRW drive and installing Nero Burning 5 and a Belkin
Flash usb drive, the Norton tab on the Properties box (from
right clicking drive icons in My Computer) has gone. The
programs still work if selected from the Start Menu.
I think this is due to the hardware changes but it could
have happened earlier with a Windows update.
