Using File Manager with Adaptec Direct CD

Hi, I am using Adaptec Direct CD software with a CD-Recordable drive.
However, when I try to copy something into that drive, File Manager refuses,
saying that it is a read-only drive.

I do not have any problems saving into that drive from either Windows
Explorer or other software programs such as Word.
