LPT Ports and QuickCam, Please Email me

how can a person configure a second LPT port.

I am having some major problems with this darn thing. I installed it
like
the instructions said. It tells me that "quickcam not plugged in,
driver in use by another application, or parallel port or USB port in
use by another device."

Now this is a quickcam vc, parallel port version for windows 95. How
do I get this thing to work? I made sure that it was attached in the
back. I went into my bios and made sure that I was running ECP. I am
lost at this point. How can I find out what driver is being used, if
any? How do I make sure that it is plugged in? How do I find out if
parallel port is being used by another program?

If you can help me, I would greatly appreciate it
