As I understand it, no further development of NN is planned, the 'C"
update is the last one.. Some people have reported it works well in
win98 others have had problems.. I just switched to Mijenix Power
Desk 98 which is very similar to NN but supported under win98.. they
have a free trial if you care to check it out..

Same here. I switched yesterday, acting on advice I read in this NG.
Frankly, it's a much better program than Navigator ever was. I
suspect the main reason Navigator failed commercially was the fact
that it slowed computers down to a relative crawl. Power Desk doesn't
do that. Maybe Norton realized they were hopelessly outclassed. At
any rate, I don't care now whether they *ever* decide to upgrade
Navigator. I've found something a lot better.

I missed Norton Navigator so much I installed it on my system with Win98.
The only problem I have heard about is the UNDO function. I disabled that ,
Norton Task Bar, Quickmenus, Norton LFN Enabler and Norton Indexing. I
mainly wanted the File Manager Funcitons Like Move, Copy and Compress. I
have had no problems so far.
