Hi All,

Win98 is up and running. I kept the suggested files for Norton File
Manger and uninstalled Norton Navigator. With an icon on the quick
start toolbar its just like old times.

It only took 1 hour to install Win98 plus another 3 to convert the 9
GB hard disk to fat32.

Win98 has solved two other non-Norton problems as well. I love it.

Dave- where is that list of files to keep in order to retain File
Manager when going to Win 98?? Can they be copies of the ones
already on the machine ie. with all the updates etc?

If you do a clean install (i.e. repatriation and reformat your master
hard drive, and install Win 98) Can you just copy the Norton File
Manager files to the new drive? Or do you need to add registry entries?

What did you do about Quick View? Did you re-install quickview plus,
or does W95 have the drivers for this?
