I had my exe. files and program files inoculated. During the
inoculation a virus found message was displayed.
However, I didn't get any information on how to fix the
virus. What can I do? The virus scans do not identify a
virus. Here are the files that showed virus found during the
inoculation:
C:\windows\command\sort.exe
C:\Program files\symantec\live update\s32live1.dll
C:\windows\command\sort.exe
Hello Maggie,
Thanks for visiting the Norton AntiVirus Online Support area.
Please check your Activity Log. You should see more information on what
occurred there. There are several things that may have happened. For
instance, it may have been a false detection. In this case, a subsequent scan
will not show any virus detections.
Please let me know what you find.
Regards,

> Dear La Vonne,
Thanks for your reply. Subsequent scans didn't show anything,
just like you said. I was concerned because every time I sign on to
my computer, I hear a zooming sound, like an airplane or race car or
something. I never heard that sound before. I hear it right before
the desk top appears on the monitor. I guess it's nothing to
worry about. Thanks again.

Hello Maggie,
I don't think you have anything to worry about. You might want to check out
what, if any, sounds are enabled for your system. To check, go to the Control
Panel and click on the Sounds icon.
Thank you very much for your help.
Maggie
You're most welcome. Thanks for writing :-)
