How can I get rid of the AntiEXE virus?

I scanned my hard drive with the Norton AntiVirus Free Scanner and it said I
have the AntiEXE virus in the Master Boot Records. I reformatting the hard
drive, but that didn't work. I can not access my CD-ROM drive and my
computer runs much slower. Does anyone know how to get rid of this virus?
